IS NOVEMBER 26TH. A BREAD RECIPE AND PRAYER IS INCLUDED WITH EVERY APRON PURCHASED AT OUR STORE BETWEEN NOW AND 11/26...CHECK OUT THE PRESS RELEASE: NATIONAL “TIE ONE ON” DAY The Fabric Shop Network, the trade association for quilt and fabric shops, is the proud sponsor of National “Tie One On” Day…celebrated each year on the day before Thanksgiving. You are invited to participate in this worthy event by joining hands and hearts with others to put the “give in Thanksgiving” for someone in need of a kind word and the special gift of an apron. National Tie One On Day is the brainchild of EllynAnne Geisel, author of The Apron Book, and is now in its third year. In keeping with Geisel’s vision, on the day before Thanksgiving, women across the country will be celebrating the day by wrapping a loaf of bread in an apron and tucking a prayer or a note of encouragement in the pocket – and then delivering the bundle to someone in need of physical or spiritual sustenance –or both. Your gift.....a vintage or handmade apron, a loaf of bread, and an encouraging note will make someone’s Thanksgiving Day brighter.

This delicate apron is a beautiful souvenir of San Francisco, California. The front of the apron is a soft scarf like material with pictures of Fisherman's Wharf, a cable car, the Cliff House and China Town. The top band/tie is made from a heaver rayon material in a cream color. The front piece measures 24" X 17" and the top portion is 53.5" X 2.25". This vintage apron is nice enough to wear at any fancy party or for a nice gift as a reminder of a city full of charm.
